MonolithAndroid needs you!

That is, I need beta testers to try the game out on a real hardware device like the T-Mobile G1. Yesterday, I published MonolithAndroid version 1.0.0 on the android market. Because I live in Greece, I cannot get hold of an actual G1 Phone, so I only tested my application on the emulator. And it seems that testing on the emulator is not enough. Hours after monolithandroid was published on android market, I got a couple of emails saying that the program presented them with a black screen and they only heard some music but they saw no graphics. So I unpublished the application. And here's where I need your help.
I would like you to download the installation package from http://code.google.com/p/monolithandroid and try it out on your TMobile G1. And here's what I would like to know:

1. Does the application start?
2. Do you hear music?
3. Can you see the letters MonolithAndroid going on and off?
4. You only see a black screen?
5. If the game seems to run, does it run smoothly, or it feels sluggish?

Hi Tasos,

1. The program starts. I get a blank screen with a title bar. After a few seconds yellow text appears with your name, website, etc.
2. The music starts, I cannot tell if it is going at normal speed or not. It is different from the music in the youtube video you posted.
3. I can get the menus to work. They say: "New Monolith..." "New Classic G..." and "Exit Game".
4. If I select a new game of either type I get the same result: red letters in the upper-left-hand corner saying "SCORE", "LEVEL" and "LINES". Otherwise the screen is black.
5. I see no bricks, only a black screen. The "SCORE" block has an incrementing counter. After it hits about 11, the program says "Game Over".
6. Sometimes the application quits almost immediately after I start it.
7. If I press the "home" button while the game is running, the app "quits" but the music continues playing.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help.

to dear Tasos,

1. Does the application start?
YES, it starts, however, it takes too much time to wait for showing the main title movie. I even thought my phone crashed once.

2. Do you hear music?
Yap, I DID heard.

3. Can you see the letters MonolithAndroid going on and off?
Did u mean the "MonolithAndroid" in the last of the main title movie with ur name? YES, it did blink on and off.

4. You only see a black screen?
Nope, but it takes too much time waiting for the movie. It's better to make a silent picture first as the background in the beginning of this application then shows ur movieclip.

5. If the game seems to run, does it run smoothly, or it feels sluggish?
It's kind of sluggish, I think it's about those "dots" u placed in the background.

Let me give more feedback to u:
1. I think it will be good if those falling blocks could make a shadow on the bottom of the slot.

2. It will be more fun if players could make customized color to their blocks and the slot frame. More on this, if u could provide some "interest frames" that will be awesome ;-)

I don't know if you read Issues page on http://code.google.com/p/monolithandroid/ but I've posted my problems there.

First of all, I would like to thank everybody that provided me with feedback. You can leave your comments here or if you prefer you can use the issue tracker found at http://code.google.com/p/monolithandroid/ under the issues tab. Whatever suits you better.
If possible, indicate the hardware device that you used to test the program. I have corrected a few things and a new apk will be released next week. I wish happy holidays to everyone. Thanks again! Cheers!
